A Little Background About Me
Let’s start with a proper hello, though … hi! I’m Emma, and I’m the recipe developer, food stylist and photographer behind this desserts food blog. I’m a lover of all French treats and can’t say no to a Chocolate Madeleine!
I’m half French and half British, and these two influences in my life have instinctively led me to love both British and European bakes (and hence my love affair with the French food culture).
Mum was an exceptional cook growing up, exposing my brother and I to a multitude of global flavours. As a family, we led a truly international life living as expats in the Philippines, Hong Kong and India – as you can imagine, an incredible experience as a kid growing up.
On my gap year in Australia, I met and fell in love with a local boy and we called Sydney home for 15 years.
Here my career as an interior decorator and prop stylist developed. Yet, it wasn’t until we moved back to London, UK, that my passion for baking and photography turned into a career. My husband Anthony and three young daughters, Malia, Lani and Coco, have taken the job as taste testers very seriously!!
This space is a culmination of years surrounded by European, Asian and Antipodean influence and my ultimate love of baking.

I’m a brand ambassador for the well known and loved Bonne Maman brand and regularly create recipes and imagery for Nielsen Massey Vanilla, Waitrose, Lyle’s Golden Syrup, Tala Cookware and Yellow Tail Wines, to name a few.
Cookbook
I have a cookbook, ‘Simply Sweet Nostalgic Bakes’ to be published in Autumn 2021. I developed and photographed recipes showcasing elegant takes on comforting, classic bakes. I'm so excited to share the front cover with you and will update you as soon as it is available for pre-release!
My Camera Gear
I currently shoot with a Canon 6D. The three lenses I use are a Canon f/1.4 50mm lens (I use this one all the time) and my Canon f/2.8 24-70mm (great for over head shots), and Canon f/2.8 100mm (for those gorgeous close-ups)
