I’ll be sharing with you How to Make Your Own Muffin Cases so that the next time you want to bake delicious muffins, you won’t be caught short. Easy to follow step-by-step photos show you just how simple to is.
Have you walked to your baking cupboard then fist pumped in the air when you take out all of the correct ingredients for that perfect Banana Muffin. You have everything you need- hoorah! And then your face drops when you realise YOU DON’T HAVE MUFFIN CASES. Aaaah. You could bake the muffins in the cupcake moulds…but then you run the risk of them sticking. Is it worth the long round about trip to the shops just for the cases. NO! Make your own!
These home-made DIY cases are the perfect alternative. If you have baking paper (greaseproof paper) hiding out in one of your drawers, bingo, you have your solution! And the best thing is, it’ll take you ten minutes at most.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut the baking paper into four squares, about 15cm each side.
- Spray each square with water.
- Place square over the cupcake mould hole and press a glass down gently.
- Leave the paper and glass for five minutes and remove the glass.
- The muffin liners are now ready to fill with your batter.
As you can see it’s really simple to make these liners. Make sure the sides rise above the height of the cupcake mould so that you can fill the liners deeply with batter. You’ll have yourself some beautiful, large and voluptuous (!) muffins before you know it!
